South Eastern Labour MPs call on rail regulator to remove barriers that could enable new international trains to stop at Ashford International, ahead of key upcoming decision.

Leaseholders and residential freeholders often tell me about the difficulties they face. After two engagement sessions with constituents, I raised these concerns in #PMQs today and asked the Deputy PM what steps the Government will take to improve the situation.
Seizing the opportunity to restore international rail services to Ashford is vital. It will boost jobs, growth, and the local economy. I will continue campaigning until services return to our station.

Today I placed a Remembrance tribute in the House of Commons Garden to commemorate those from Ashford, Hawkinge, and the Villages who bravely gave their lives in service, so we can live in a free and democratic society today.
Lest we forget.
