I and fellow Kent Labour MPs have written to @LeaderofKCC. It’s deeply concerning that Reform’s chaos in Kent has left the Fire Brigades Union warning of a threat to public safety at the Kent and Medway Fire Authority.
.@sojanuk: "Reform chaos is a risk to public safety."
PM: "Kent County Council was supposed to be the blueprint for what Reform would deliver across the country:
Cutting local services, raising council tax, and failing to protect the public."
Great to chair this morning’s meeting with the ORR for the HS1 Sub-Committee on Growth.
Restoring international rail services to Kent stations is a key priority for our region. Thanks to all MPs, councillors, the Rail Regulator and representatives from HS1 for attending.
Today, the Labour Party pauses to remember all those who have died in service of our country, and expresses gratitude to the brave personnel who continue to serve.
We will never forget the sacrifice and service of those who defended our country and fought for our freedom.
Today, on Armistice Day, the nation will fall silent at 11am, as we honour those who gave their lives for our freedom.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them.
A very moving Remembrance Sunday Service and Ceremony this morning at St. Mary’s Church in Ashford.
Today is a time of quiet reflection for us to think about those who gave so much, so we can live in a free and peaceful society today.
Lest we forget.
I'm looking forward to hosting my second Coffee Morning on Tuesday 11th November at Christ Church Hall, Willesborough (TN24 0HH) — 9:45–10:45am, finishing in time to commemorate Remembrance Day at 11am.

Leaseholders and residential freeholders often tell me about the difficulties they face. After two engagement sessions with constituents, I raised these concerns in #PMQs today and asked the Deputy PM what steps the Government will take to improve the situation.
